UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Mar. 9 — Ukrainian forces killed a Russian sabotage group who attempted mine an area near Ukrainian positions in Zahryzove village in the Kupiansk district, said the Command of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the military, the soldiers of the 77th Airmobile Brigade Naddnipryanska spotted a group of Russian soldiers trying to plant mines.
Ukrainian bomber drones attacked Russians, forcing them to step back. Then, soldiers of an assault airborne unit killed a group in a firefight.
The Airborne Assault Forces noted that their units continue to hold positions on the Kupiansk axis.
