UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Mar. 13 — Soldiers of the 77th Airmobile Brigade Naddnipryanska closed in on the Russian positions in the Kharkiv oblast, reported the press service of the brigade.
Ukrainian forces captured four Russian soldiers. Another Russian soldier didn’t surrender and was killed on the spot, the brigade said.
“The (POW) prisoners will be added to the exchange pool and will serve as further proof that Russian units are losing control of the situation even in their own positions,” said the brigade.
Earlier, Ukrainian forces killed a Russian sabotage group that attempted to mine an area near Ukrainian positions in Zahryzove village in the Kupiansk district.
