UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Apr. 13 — Special police unit Bilyi Yangol (“White angel” from Ukrainian), with the help of the Red Cross emergency response team, evacuated civilians from one settlement in the Borova community east of the Kharkiv oblast, reported the Kharkiv regional police.

The Borova community is located in the eastern Kharkiv oblast, on the Oskil river. Russians constantly launch airstrikes at the settlements in the community.

The police said that the settlement people were evacuated from is “almost fully destroyed,” and Russians constantly attack it with different types of weapons.

The Bilyi Yangol evacuated four people, including an elderly man with vision impairment.

The evacuation mission was difficult because of the activity of Russian drones in the area. Once, the team was forced to stop and hide from a drone, said the police.

Earlier, the Kharkiv regional police evacuated 10 people, including five children, from Synychene village in the Izium district.
