UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Apr. 7 — Ukrainian military said that the situation with Russian attacks in some areas north of Sumy and Kharkiv regions “remains tense,” said Vitalii Sarantsev, the officer of the 14th Army Corps, to Suspilne Ukraine. In particular, he added, the area around Kozacha Lopan settlement north of Kharkiv got “more intense.”
Sarantsev said that the area near Pokrovka village in Sumy oblast remains the most difficult.
Also, Russian forces actively attack Ukrainian logistics in addition to their assaults. They deploy waiting drones, which stay in waiting mode before attacking military or civilian vehicles passing by.
“Every day we publish our reports on how many air-attack and aerial reconnaissance devices we are destroying. This ranges from Shahed attack drones to waiting drones,” Sarantsev said.
In March, the Ukrainian military said that they expanded the kill zone in Belgorod oblast in Russia by primarily striking Russian logistics and positions with drones.
