UKRAINE, KUPIANSK, Feb. 16 — The soldiers of 41st Mechanized Brigade evacuated four people, including a child, and two cats and dog from Kupiansk, reported the press service of the brigade.
On Feb. 2, DeepState, OSINT war monitoring group, reported that Ukrainian forces regained control under the southern part of Kupiansk, while the northern part of the city remained a combat zone.
The 41st Mechanized Brigade said that the situation in Kupiansk is still tense, because of the threat of Russian drones and shellings.
“The evacuation group moved as carefully as possible. The commander stayed in constant contact with the team and kept control of the situation at every stage,” said the brigade.
Despite the risks, the team completed the operation without any casualties. Those evacuated were provided with safe shelter.
