UKRAINE, Apr. 10 — Ukrainian forces struck a rare K-4386 Typhoon-VDV armored vehicle equipped with a 30mm cannon, reported STAR Battalion of Unmanned Systems from Ukraine’s 22nd Separate Mechanized Brigade.

Russian troops abandoned the Typhoon-VDV near a Ukrainian defensive line reinforced with dragon’s teeth, anti-tank obstacles made of concrete.

Typhoon-VDV is built on the protected 4×4 KamAZ-4386 (K-4386) platform, said Militarnyi, Ukrainian war research and analytical center. The damaged vehicle was equipped with a 32V01 combat module, armed with a 30mm 2A42 automatic cannon and a 7.62mm PKTM machine gun.

Inside, the vehicle features an operator station with a control panel, an integrated ballistic computer, and a remote control unit. The interface displays system data, video feeds, firing adjustments, and the status of the module’s subsystems.
