UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Mar. 23 — On Mar. 23, the DeepState, an OSINT war-monitoring group, reported about the Russian advance in Vovchansk and Synkivka village north of Kharkiv oblast. The Ukrainian Joint Forces Task Force denied this claim.
“In Vovchansk, Russians try to break through the defence, but the Ukrainian army keeps their positions,” said the Joint Forces.
Ukrainian military said that Russians attacked Ukrainian positions near Starytsia, Vovchanski Khutory, Zybyne, and Okhrimivka settlements in northern Kharkiv oblast.
On the Kupiansk axis east of Kharkiv oblast, Russian troops attacked near Borivska Andriivka, Novoplatonivka, Kivsharivka, and Kupiansk itself.
On the Velykyi Burluk axis, Russian forces are gathering strength to resume their offensive, the Joint Forces said.
Earlier, one of the Ukrainian brigades, operating north of Kharkiv oblast, said that Russia is amassing its forces in this area as they avoid being targeted by Ukrainian troops who use the advantages of clear skies and better weather.
