UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Feb. 24 — On Feb. 22, Russian forces attacked Novoosynove village with a glide bomb, injuring a woman and her daughters, aged 13 and seven years old, said the governor Oleh Syniehubov during the meeting with journalists.

According to Syniehubov, the woman has serious injuries and is in critical condition. The older girl also suffered serious injuries.

“This is a very emotional situation. We have been searching for this family for almost a year. They often moved to different settlements within the Kupiansk district. And today we worked all night with our military to work out the possible evacuation of the family,” said Syniehubov.

The governor noted that the evacuation is complicated by increased activity of Russian drones in the area. Weather conditions also have an impact, and some crossings over the Oskil river have been flooded because of the warming weather. Novoosynove is located on the left bank of the river, which complicates logistics.

Over the past day, Russians conducted five attacks on the Kupiansk district.

Russian FPV drones attacked a car and injured a 42-year-old man in Pryliutove village, a bus in Velyki Khutory village, and a house in Novomykolaivka village, reported Andrii Kanashevych, the head of the Kupiansk district military administration.

Russian attacks also damaged a house in Prykolotne settlement and another house in Malakhove village. There were no casualties.
