UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Feb. 23 — On Feb. 22, a Russian FPV drone attack killed a local from Andriivka village in the Kupiansk district, said Andrii Kanashevych, the head of military administration of the Kupiansk district, live on Ukrainian national TV. Kanashevych added that Ukrainian forces evacuated the body of the killed man using a ground drone.
According to Kanashevych, as of now, around 430 people still live in Kupiansk, and 240 people live in Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, which is five kilometers (three miles) from Kupiansk.
Since Feb. 2, the map made by Ukrainian OSINTers has shown that Ukrainian forces liberated the southern part of Kupiansk, while the northern part remains under Russian control.
Life in Kupiansk district is increasingly dangerous because of constant Russian attacks, so, the evacuation of civilians continues there.
