On Oct. 11 and 12, Russian forces attacked Kupiansk itself and the nearby settlements of Kamianka, Bolohivka, Dvorichanske, Kolodiazne, Zapadne, Kutkivka, Petropavlivka, and Stepova Novoselivka.

On Oct. 12, DeepState, a Ukrainian OSINT war monitoring group, reported about Russian advances near Pishchane village, east of Kupiansk.

ISW recorded Russian attacks near Borova, Bohuslavka, Nova Kruhliakivka, Zahryzove, and Kopanky, as well as north of Kharkiv Oblast, near Vovchansk and Synelnykove.

Russian forces also continued their offensive in the Velykyi Burluk direction but did not advance.

At the beginning of October, Vadym Mysnyk, head of the communications of the Pivnich operational-strategic group, said that the depth of kill zones — areas where ambush fire is concentrated — is increasing on the Velykyi Burluk axis.
