UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Mar. 24 — The Hatylo drone unit of the 3rd Heavy Mechanized Brigade destroyed Russian ammunition storage and shelters, reported the press service of the brigade.
Heavy drones of the Hatylo unit usually operate at night, and the latest videos were captured by cameras that detect thermal radiation, allowing the military to see warm objects in complete darkness, through smoke, fog, or plant cover.
The brigade said that Russians are hiding in deep ground trenches, and it’s hard to see them because Ukrainian drones hit the Russian shelters immediately.
“We still could see some Russians. For example, two people who were spotted by our FPV drones. And another one who was hiding among the ruins of a building,” said the brigade.
Earlier, Ukrainian soldiers of the 1st mobile border guard brigade Hart killed 66 and injured 55 Russian soldiers during a Russian attempt to break through the state border in the Kharkiv oblast.
Russian forces conducted an unsuccessful attempt to cross the border near the Pishchane village, northeast of the Kharkiv oblast, on Mar. 17-19.
