DOMINICA, Nov. 24 — Ukrainian diver Kateryna Sadurska won the Constant Weight No Fins (CNF) diving competition in Dominica under the auspices of the International Association for the Development of Freediving (AIDA) and set a new world record, said Suspilne Sport.
Sadurska was born in Mykolaiv, a city on southern Ukraine, but trains in Kharkiv.
Earlier in the autumn of 2025, Sadurska achieved two victories at the world championship, also under the AIDA, in constant weight diving without flippers with a result of 75 meters, and in constant weight diving with flippers, at 97 meters.
In November, the diver beat her record from 2024 by two meters — back then, Sadurska dove to depths of 80, 82, and 84 meters.
This is the eighth world record in constant weight diving without flippers for the Ukrainian athlete — she has broken it for the third consecutive time at the tournament in Dominica.
Sadurska set her first world record in July 2023, when she achieved the best result at Vertical Blue with a dive of 74 meters.
Earlier, Nataliia Zharkova from Kharkiv competed at the CMAS 2025 World Championship Freediving Depth in Greece. She dove to a depth of 113 meters and won gold in constant weight breath-hold diving in a monofin.
