UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Dec. 2 — The weather in the Kharkiv region is suitable for Russian attacks, as they are hiding in the fog and trying to advance toward Ukrainian positions, said platoon sergeant major of the 13th Khartia Brigade with callsign Soldat to Army TV.
“Sometimes Russians release animals to distract the Ukrainian forces, while they themselves go in a different direction,” said Soldat.
He noted that all this helps the Russian infantry to get closer to the Ukrainian positions. However, Soldat says the brigade is killing them anyway. “Russians think they are invisible, but we see everything,” he said.
Soldat said that Russians use camouflage raincoats and ponchos, testing different fabrics to mask themselves in the surroundings.
On Dec. 1, Ukrainian war monitoring group reported that Russian forces advanced in the northern part of the Kupiansk axis.
