UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Mar. 13 — On Mar. 12, Russian forces launched 14 glide bombs at Borova settlement located east of Kharkiv oblast, killing an 84-year-old woman. Another 65-year-old woman is trapped under the rubble, said Olena Klymenko, the deputy head of the Borova community, to Gwara Media.
According to Klymenko, one of the Russian attacks hit a house in the settlement, trapping the owner under the rubble.
“Her neighbours said that they were screaming to her, but there was no answer,” said the deputy head, supposing that the woman under the rubble was dead.
One of this woman’s neighbours was also injured after the Russian attack. Klymenko said that she got a serious head trauma. The woman died in the hospital.
Klymenko said that 206 people are still living in Borova.
All emergency services relocated from the settlement to safer places, so “people are dealing with the damage on their own,” said the deputy.
Also, Klymenko noted that the number of evacuation requests from locals has increased.
