UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Apr. 2 — In the evening, Russian forces attacked Polova village in the Kharkiv district, killing a 65-year-old man and injuring seven people, reported the governor of the region Oleh Syniehubov.

According to the governor, medics hospitalized two women aged 32 and 66 years old and a 12-year-old boy with explosive injuries.

Medics also provided aid to two men aged 85 and 64 years old and two women aged 61 and 49 years old on the spot.

On Apr. 2, Russian forces also attacked Lymanivka village in the Lozova district, injuring three girls aged 12, 14, and 15 years old, said Syniehubov.

Over the day, Russian forces hit Kharkiv with drones at least 11 times, targeting the Kyivskyi district of the city. Most of the Russian drones were jet-powered, and the Russians used them against Kharkiv for the first time.
