The Russian military attacked several cities on the night of February 10, including strikes on infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia and Kharkiv.
According to the secretary of Zaporizhzhia City Council, Anatoliy Kurtev, a massive attack was launched on Zaporizhzhia.
“In one hour, 17 hostile attacks were recorded in the city – the largest number since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. The monsters insidiously attacked energy infrastructure facilities,” he said on Telegram.
According to Kurtev, information on the damage and casualties is still being clarified.
- Meanwhile, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported a series of strikes on the city at 4 a.m.
“The enemy is targeting critical infrastructure. There may be interruptions in electricity, water and heat supply. Information on casualties and destruction is currently being updated. All municipal services and the State Emergency Service are working to eliminate the consequences of the night shelling,” he added.
Later, the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov, informed that the invaders had struck at critical infrastructure and about 10 explosions were recorded.
- At about 10 a.m. another strike was recorded on the critical infrastructure of Kharkiv.
- About 150,000 Kharkiv residents are without electricity. Utilities are already working to restore the water and heat supply, Kharkiv RMA head reported.
In recent months, Russian missile strikes have focused on critical infrastructure, but other civilian targets, including residential buildings, have been systematically targeted, resulting in civilian deaths.
