UKRAINE, KHARKIV REGION, Feb. 9 — The Russian army has advanced near Tykhe in the Vovchansk community, reported the OSINT war monitoring group DeepState.
Since the beginning of the year, Russian forces have attempted to use their advantage in numbers and break through the defenses of the Ukrainian forces in northern Kharkiv oblast.

Earlier, DeepState and ISW reported on Russia occupying Dihtiarne (Dehtriane before) village northeast of Kharkiv oblast.
Viktor Trehubov, a spokesperson for the group of forces responsible for the region, said that OSINT projects documented “existing Russian presence” in the village and that the update to the war map DeepState maintains doesn’t signify changes to the frontline.
