UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Oct. 27 — Russian troops advanced towards Odradne in the direction of Velykyi Burluk, reports DeepState, an OSINT war monitoring project.

In July, DeepState reported about the Russian occupation of Milove, a village adjacent to the Russian border. Through the rest of the summer and September, they also advanced towards Ambarne in this area. Ukraine’s military theorized that it’san attempt to distract the Armed Forces from other sections of the frontline in the Kharkiv region.

Russia has also been advancing north of Dvorichna towards the border and deeper into Kharkiv Oblast: since July, they’ve occupied Stroivka, partially occupied Kamianka, and Krasne Pershe.

On Sep. 30, Gwara’s source in intelligence anonymously suggested that it’s likely that Russians are planning to disrupt Ukraine’s logistics between Myrne and Ambarne and territories of northern Kupiansk axis (near Dvorichna).

Back in March, DeepState wrote that Russians, prevented from creating bridgeheads on Oskil south of Dvorichna, createdone north of Kamianka.

Russia advances on Kharkiv oblast from the north, east, and southeast, trying to move further into the region, occupy logistics hubs, and disrupt supply routes.
