KHARKIV, UKRAINE, DEC 29 — The number of injured people in Kharkiv increased to 11 people, wrote the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
He added that a Russian missile attack damaged a hospital and an ambulance.
Earlier, spokeswoman of Kharkiv RMA, Olena Shapoval, reported that seven people are in the hospital [because of the missile strike — ed], and two among them are heavily injured. Apart from that, one person died in the attack.
What’s known about the missile attack in Kharkiv on December 29
Around 5 AM on December 29, at least six explosions were heard in the city. The air raid alert was announced in Kharkiv at 3:55 AM.
According to the city mayor, Ihor Terehov, the Russian army attacked the city with two types of missiles, S-300 and X-22. They’ve hit at least eight times, in Kyivskyi and Kholodnohirskyi districts. The information is being updated.
Between 6:58 and 7:08 AM, Kharkiv was attacked with another eight missile strikes. The third wave of attacks started at 7:56, according to Ihor Terehov. The emergency services are working at the attack sites.
