UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Dec. 31 — A Russian glide bomb attack at Kivsharivka village of Kupiansk district killed a 68-year-old man, reported Oleh Syniehubov, governor of Kharkiv Oblast, and Kharkiv regional police.
Russia frequently launches air attacks on Kharkiv Oblast, and its troops are trying to push deeper into the region from several directions. Last week, Russian troops launched a glide bomb at one of Kharkiv’s main roads, killing two people.
Over the past day, Russia also attacked three more settlements of the Kharkiv region, damaging a house and outbuildings in Hrushivka, more houses in Vasylivka, and hitting a civilian business’s territory in Zlatopil of the Lozova district.
To strike the Kharkiv region, Russia used two glide bombs, one Geran-2 drone, and one first-person view (FPV) drone.
