UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Feb 6 — On February 6, Russia attacked Kharkiv with a drone at about 2:20 p.m., hitting the facade of an administrative building in the Saltivskyi district of the city with a “Molniya”-type drone, reports Oleh Syniehubov. Another “Molniya” targetting the city was shot down by Ukrainian air defense.

On February 5, around 11:25 p.m., Russian drone Geran-2 hit Barabashovo, which was the biggest market in Europe, in Kharkiv’s Kyivskyi district — at least 100 stores were destroyed in an attack. We’ve been to the hit site: here’s the photo story

On February 5, around 2:40 a.m., the Russian army attacked the Saltivskyi district of Kharkiv with a Geran-2 Shahed-type drone, injuring a man.

The local Prosecutor’s office says the strike caused the roof of a non-residential building to catch fire and damage the educational institution. A 49-year-old man who lived in the opposite building experienced an acute stress reaction in the attack.

Before that, Russia hit the Osnovianskyi district at 02:36 a.m. with Geran-2, which partially destroyed and burned down the roof of a non-residential building and damaged an educational facility. The attack didn’t injure anyone.

Russia attacks Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second city, often because of its proximity to the frontline and the state border (19 miles) and uses various weapons like drones, glide bombs, and missiles to do so.
