UKRAINE, VOVCHANSK DISTRICT, Aug 26 — At about 8:15 a.m., Russian troops hit a civilian car in Vovchansk district from a first-person view (FPV) drone, injuring two passengers, reported Kharkiv regional police.
Police reports that the injured experienced an acute stress reaction. According to them, people were driving towards a frontline settlement to deliver humanitarian aid to the locals. The Russian attack also damaged their vehicles.
Earlier, Ukraine’s military reported that Russian troops continue to try to break through Kyiv’s defences in Vovchansk direction.
On Aug 24, Institute for the Study of War (ISW) released an assessment that confirmed, through geolocation, Russian advance in the central Vovchansk.
