UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Mar. 27 — On Mar. 26, Russian forces attacked a group of civilians with an FPV drone during the evacuation through the Oskil river in Kupiansk. The attack injured a 22-year-old man, said Andrii Kanashevych, the head of the Kupiansk district military administration.
Anna Hontar, a spokeswoman of the Kharkiv military administration, said to Gwara Media that the man got blast injuries to the upper and lower limbs.
On Feb. 2, DeepState, an OSINT war monitoring group, reported that Ukrainian forces regained control of the southern part of Kupiansk, while the northern part of the city remained a combat zone.
Despite this, the threat of an attack by Russian drones remains high. Kanashevych reported about six other Russian attacks on the Kupiansk district over the past few days.
Russian attacks damaged houses in Sobolivka village in the Kindrashivka community and Spodobivka village in the Shevchenkove community. They also attacked Rozdolne village, damaging the equipment of a mobile operator, Raivka village, and Shevchenkove settlement.
Another Russian FPV drone attacked the Chuhuiv-Milove highway near Borivske village. Earlier, Russians attacked the highway twice, killing a man and injuring a woman.
Over the day, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and 16 settlements of the Kharkiv oblast, injuring 25 people.
