UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Jan. 29 — On Jan. 28, Russians launched an FPV drone at Khatnie village in the Kupiansk district, killing a 47-year-old man, said Andrii Kanashevych, the head of military administration of the Kupiansk district.
On the same day, Russian forces attacked a special unit of the police “White angels” with an FPV drone during their evacuation mission in Hrushivka village. A drone hit an open area, and there were no casualties.
Over the past day, Russian forces attacked three settlements of the Kharkiv oblast with nine Geran-2 drones, two FPV drones, and two drones of unidentified types, reported the governor Oleh Syniehubov.
In Barvinkove, the Izium district, Russian drones attacked two cars.
Earlier, Russians attacked a passenger train in the Barvinkove community, killing at least four and injuring two people. Rescuers also found body fragments on the impact site.
On Jan. 28, the Prosecutor’s Office of Kharkiv oblast said that the bodies were severely mutilated, which made it difficult to determine the number of people dead. As for now, the regional prosecutors have found that the Russian attack on a passenger train killed six people.
