UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Apr. 9 — Russian forces advanced near the village of Pischane, located ~13 km (8 miles) southeast of Kupiansk, reported DeepState, OSINT war monitoring group.

This is the third time in April that DeepState has recorded Russian advances near Pischane.

On Apr. 8, DeepState also reported Russian advances near the village of Petropavlivka, located 7 kilometers (4,3 miles) from Kupiansk.

On Apr. 1, Viktor Trehubov, a spokesperson for the Ukrainian forces responsible for Kharkiv oblast, confirmed to Gwara Media the presence of Russian troops in Pischane. He also claimed that the Ukrainian military is successfully repelling the Russian attacks on the village.

According to Trehubov, Pischane remains in the gray zone without a clear front line, and the Russian army continues to attempt infiltration and build up its forces.
