UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Apr. 1 — Russian forces advanced near the village of Pischane in the Kupiansk district, DeepState, OSINT war monitoring group, reported on Apr. 1.

Viktor Trehubov, a spokesperson for a military group responsible for the Kharkiv oblast, confirmed that Russians entered Pischane. He also said that combat clashes are taking place in the village.

Earlier, Trehubov said that Russian forces are continuing to attack Ukrainian positions, attempting to advance toward the city of Kupiansk from the east.

According to him, a small group of Russian soldiers remains trapped under the rubble of a hospital in Kupiansk, despite Russia’s claims that they were killed. Food and supplies are being delivered to them by drones.

“It is unclear why they were declared dead prematurely. Attempts to infiltrate the city are taking place not on its outskirts, but in nearby satellite settlements, where Russian activity and efforts to break through have been observed,” Trehubov said.
