UKRAINE, VOVCHANSK, Nov. 28 — Russian forces advanced in Vovchansk, said DeepState OSINT war monitoring group.
Vovchansk, a city located to the north of Kharkiv, was one of the main targets of a Russian offensive in May 2024. Russian attacks since then have completely destroyed the city.
The General Staff reported that over the past day, Russian forces attacked six times north of Kharkiv, near Vovchansk, Ambarne, and Dvorichanske.
Russians also attacked six times on the Kupiansk axis, near Petropavlivka, Mala Shpakivka, Pishchane, and Novoplatonivka.
Earlier, the Russian President Vladimir Putin said during the press conference that Russian forces captured Vovchansk. Ukrainian forces deny this claim, noting that they continue to defend the city.
