UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Dec. 1 — Russian forces advance near the Dvorichanske settlement in the Kupiansk region, reported DeepState, an OSINT war monitoring group.

In November, Russian forces occupied 505 square kilometers of Ukrainian land, which is twice as much as in September.

“Possibly, Russians advanced near Odradne-Ambarne mostly in October. However, it is hard to say because of lies (Russian claims about captured territories in the Kharkiv region — ed.),” said DeepState.

Since the beginning of October, DeepState has recorded Russian advances east of the Velykyi Burluk near Ambarne and Odradne villages.

Earlier, Gwara’s source in the intelligence unit anonymously said that Russian troops are likely planning to disrupt Ukraine’s logistics between the area of that incursion (towards Velykyi Burluk) and the northern flank of the Kupiansk axis (north of Dvorichna).

Russia intensified its offensive on Kupiansk this summer. Russia aims to surround and occupy Kupiansk and seize Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, a city located south of Kupiansk, which serves as an important logistics and railway hub for the region.
