UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Oct. 28 — Because of the Russian air attacks on Kharkiv oblast over 4,000 people remain without power in Lozova district and Lozova itself, south of the region, said Oleh Syniehubov, region’s governor.

Russia launched another campaign against Ukraine’s power system this autumn. In October Russia intensified its attack against Ukraine’s energy, said military Mykhailo Zhyrokhov, military expert, in the ether of Ukrainian Radio NV.

Russia launched a drone attack on Lozova on Oct. 23, damaging power networks in Lozova district. The repair works are ongoing

Syniehubov noted that customers receive electricity hourly according to the outages schedule.

Syniehubov said authorities plan to restore electricity in the area within the next few days, but the threat of repeated strikes by the Russian Federation must be taken into account.
