UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Sep. 5 — In the evening of Sep. 4, Russian forces launched a kamikaze drone on the Khotimilia village, killing three and injuring three more, reported Oleh Syniehubov, the region’s governor.

Khotimilia is a village in the Staryi Saltiv community in the eastern part of the Oblast, 30 km ( 18 miles) from Vovchansk.

Syniehubov said that the Russian attack killed two 40-year-old men and injured two men, aged 32 and 47. Medics hospitalized them both. Later, another man sought medical help. All of them are road repair workers working during the attack.

A Russian drone strike also killed a 25-year-old woman who was passing by the workers.

Prosecutors are working to identify the type of drone; preliminary reports suggest it was either a Molniya or a Lancet.

In the evening of Sep. 4, Russians also struck a Lozovenka village in the Izium district with a missile, causing a fire. No injuries reported.
