UKRAINE, NOVYI KOROTYCH, Jan. 16 — The Russian attack on Nova Poshta post service terminal on Jan. 13, destroyed the batch of aid for the homeless animals in the frontline villages of the Kharkiv oblast, said UAnimals, animal welfare organization.

Nova Poshta confirmed that the batch was destroyed in the Russian attack.

On Jan. 13, Russia attacked the Nova Poshta post service terminal in the settlement of Novyi Korotych, killing four, injuring six people.

UAnimals said that the organization sent 230 kilograms (507 pounds) of food for animals and 100 doses of antiparasitic vaccines to a volunteer Vladyslava Shylo. She was supposed to deliver this aid to Kharkiv locals who care about homeless animals in the frontline villages.

“Most of these cats and dogs lost their homes because of the war. Now they are forced to starve because the enemy cannot satisfy its bloody appetite,” wrote UAnimals.
