UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, July 4 — On July 4, the analytical OSINT project DeepState reported that Russia occupied Milove and Stroivka, villages in the Kupiansk district, several kilometres from the Russian border.
“It’s not a secret that the Ukrainian forces concentrate their power on other territories. So, the units there (near supposedly occupied villages — ed.) were forced to find resources from nothing while the Russians slowly grew their power,” said DeepState.
In its report covering July 3, the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) denied the full occupation of Milove in the Kupiansk district, saying they are “unable to confirm” if Russia “maintains enduring positions” in the village. .
At the same time, ISW reported about Ukraine army’s advances near the Borova settlement.
“Geolocated footage published on July 2 indicates that Ukrainian forces recently advanced within northeastern Zahryzove (northeast of Borova),” the ISW’s assessment said.
On July 3, the analytical OSINT project DeepState reported on a Russian advance near Synkivka, a village on the Kupiansk axis located several kilometers northeast of Kupiansk’s outskirts.
