UKRAINE, CHUHUIV DISTRICT, Nov. 7 — Russian troops launched airstrikes on Shevchenkove Pershe village of Chuhuiv district, killing a 43-year-old woman, reported Kharkiv’s State Emergency Service (SES). The fire spread through the area after the attack. 

“Emergency workers, medics, and firefighters of Vilcha village were working (at the hitsite) under the threat of double-tap attack,” the SES wrote. 

Overnight on Nov. 7, Russia hit Chuhuiv and its district with 10 kamikaze drones, destroying the Nova Poshta post office, tech service station, and an educational facility. 

The Russian attack on Chuhuiv also caused a partial blackout in the city, but as of 3:53 p.m., specialists from “Kharkivoblenergo,” a municipal energy company, had restored the electricity. 

Over the past day, Russia launched air attacks on 11 settlements of Kharkiv Oblast, injuring four people. They used 27 Geran-2 kamikaze drones, a Molniya drone, an FPV drone, and 31 drones of unknown type. 

In Kalynove village of Borivska hromada, Russians injured a 35-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man. In Zahryzhove, a 60-year-old man got injured. In Putnykove of Dvorichna hromada, Russian shelling injured a 24-year-old man.
