UKRAINE, BOHODUHIV, Feb. 9 — A Russian airstrike hit a residential district in Bohodukhiv in Kharkiv oblast, killing a 10-year-old boy and his mother of an unknown age and injuring two men, aged 22 and 68, and a woman, aged 89. The prosecutor’s office in Kharkiv oblast reported about the attack on their social media.
Russia often shells Kharkiv oblast, especially areas close to the state border and the frontline.
During Feb. 8-9, Russia attacked 10 settlements in Kharkiv oblast, killing two people and injuring six, including a 17-year-old girl in Zolochiv.
In Bohodukhiv, a Russian strike damaged nine private houses.
According to the preliminary findings of the Prosecutor’s office, they used a kamikaze drone Geran-2 to attack the city that’s located northwest of the Kharkiv region, about 13 miles (22 kilometers) from the Russian border. They are to investigate these attacks as war crimes, having open pre-trial investigations
