UKRAINE, KHARKIV, May 1 — Two Russian attack drones hit Kharkiv on May 1, in one of which police found a bag of nails, said Petro Tokar, the spokesperson of Kharkiv police.
Over April, Russians attacked Kharkiv Oblast 136 times, injuring 230 people and killing seven people, including one child, said the Kharkiv mayor Ihor Terekhov.
At noon of May 1, the Russian troops hit the Kyivsky and Osnovianskyi districts in Kharkiv with two “Molniya” drones, reported Oleh Syniehubov, Kharkiv Oblast governor.
The first attack was at 11:50 a.m. in the Kyivsky district on the ground near the garage cooperative. The police didn’t report on any casualties or damage to the impact site, but they found a bag of nails attached to the drone.
“Russia tries to bring maximum damage to civilian people and use such simple methods as additional elements attached to the drone to hit a large number of people,” said Tokar.
The second attack happened in two hours, damaging the transport infrastructure in the Osnovianskyi district.
