UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Oct. 7 — On the night of Oct. 7, Russian forces attacked the Nemyshlianskyi district of Kharkiv with 25 Geran-2 drones, reported the local Prosecutor’s Office.
A Russian attack damaged civilian infrastructure. There were no casualties.
Oleh Syniehubov, governor of the Kharkiv oblast, said during the national telethon that Russian drones attacked an electrical substation, cutting power to more than 40,000 customers.
Syniehubov said that the State Emergency Service units are working together with energy companies — more than 150 specialists are involved.
Over the past day, Russian forces also attacked six settlements in Kharkiv oblast with two missiles, three FPV-drones, and two drones of an unidentified type, injuring two men aged 67 and 54 years old.
Russians destroyed or damaged a factory building, a house, and a car in Kupiansk district, a car in Izium district, and a house, farm buildings, and power networks in Bohodukhiv district.
On Oct. 5, Russian forces attacked Novobavarskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts of Kharkiv with 16 Geran-2 and Lancet drones, targeting energy and civilian infrastructure. Over 22,000 households in Kharkiv were left without power
On Oct. 7, the energy supplier “Kharkivoblenergo” reported that it completely restored power supply after the Russian attack on Oct. 5.
