UKRAINE, Aug 4 — Over July, Russian troops seized 564 square kilometers of Ukrainian territories, reported DeepState, an OSINT war monitoring group. In Kharkiv Oblast, according to their information, Russia seized about 50,7 square kilometers or 9% percent of all occupied territories last month.
“Russians actually reached the same numbers as in June,” said the DeepState analysts, commenting on overall numbers. In July, the Russian army occupied 8 square kilometers more than in June.
In July, DeepState recorded the biggest advances on the Novopavlivka (34% from all occupied territories in July) axis in the Dnipropetrovsk region, the Pokrovsk (22%) and Lyman (12%) axes in the Donetsk region.
Also, the monitoring group noted the most active assaults in the Novopavlivka (12%) axis in Dnipropetrovsk region, the Pokrovsk (35%) and Lyman (15%) axes in Donetsk region, and the Sumy (11%) axis.
DeepState also reported that 9% of all assault activities were focused on the Kharkiv region.
The General Staff reported that, on August 3, the Russians attacked the Ukrainian positions eight times near Vovchansk, Kutkivka, Fyholivka, and Krasne Pershe settlements north of Kharkiv. On the Kupiansk axis, Russian troops attacked nine times.
The Kharkiv mayor said that in July, Russia launched 103 air attacks on Kharkiv, killing one person and injuring 164 people, including 20 children.
