UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Aug 26 — Russian troops attacked four settlements in Kharkiv Oblast over the past day, reports governor Oleh Syniehubov in his morning report. The attack on Slatyne village injured a 66-year-old woman.
Russia often attacks Kharkiv Oblast, adjacent to the state border. It also tries to occupy it from the north and northeast (Kharkiv axis) and east and southeast (Kupiansk axis).
In Slatyne, Russian shelling, in addition to injuring a person, damaged three houses. Houses were also damaged in Borova and Klynove-Novoselivka.
Over the past day, Russia hit Kharkiv Oblast with “Molniya” and two first-person view (FPV) drones.
Russian troops attacked the Ukrainian army positions 16 times near nine settlements of the Kharkiv region.
