UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Oct. 16 — Russian mass air attack on Kharkiv oblast injured four people over the past day, reports Kharkiv oblast police.
Governor Oleh Synuehubov says Russian troops used three missiles, one glide bomb, 56 Geran-2 drones (Russian name for modified Iranian-made Shaheds), one Lancet drone, and one first-person view (FPV) drone.
Russian attacks injured two men, 46 and 49, in the Donetsk community of Izium district, and another two men, 34 and 56, in Staryi Merchik village of Bohodukhiv district. They were hospitalized.


In the Kupiansk district, Russian airstrikes damaged houses, and in the Lozova district, drones hit near powerlines, according to police reports. According to Syniehubov, 7,390 consumers are still left without electricity in the Blyzniuky community of the district.
Police reports that investigators of the region registered 26,865 proceedings into Russian war crimes in Kharkiv oblast since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion.
Kharkiv oblast is frequently a target of Moscow’s air attacks. Russian troops are attempting to advance deeper into it from the north, east, and southeast, frequently killing or injuring civilians and damaging critical infrastructure in the region.
