UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Mar. 18 — At about 11:00 a.m., Russia attacked Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city, with a drone strike, killing one person and injuring two, reported the local prosecutor’s office,
Preliminary investigation showed Russia hit the Kholodnohirskyi district of the city with a Geran-2 drone (Moscow’s modification of Iranian Shahed), killing a man who had just recently turned 54.
Another two men, 46 and 23, got acute stress reactions in the aftermath of the shelling.
Prosecutors opened a pre-trial investigation into the war crime that caused a person’s death, their press office said.
