UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Jul 29 — In the morning of July 29, Russian troops attacked Novoplatonivka, a village in Borova community, from a multiple rocket launcher system, said Oleh Syneihubov, the governor of the region.

Novoplatonivka is a village, located 3 kilometers from Borova, a settlement near the Oskil river, and is strategically important for the Russians because of its logistical advantage.

The Russian army hit the only shop in the village, killing five and injuring four people. People gathered to get humanitarian aid when Russians attacked civilians, said the local State Emergency Service.

“The Russians killed two women and three men. As for the injured, one man has an abdominal wound and another woman has burns. Both have serious traumas, while the other two have minor,” said Oleksandr Tertyshnyi, the head of the Borova military administration, to Suspilne.

Syneihubov also reported that at the same time, Russian troops attacked Pisky-Radkivski village, hitting a house. Information about the victims is being clarified.

Earlier, the analytical OSINT project DeepState reported that the Russian army advanced on the right bank of the Oskil river near Karpivka in Donetsk Oblast and Zelenyi Hai in Kharkiv Oblast.
