UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Mar. 25 — After 11:15 a.m., Russia launched a kamikaze drone attack on Kharkiv’s Kholodnohirskyi and Novobavarskyi districts, injuring two people in one and two in another, reported Kharkiv mayor Ihor Terekhov and the region’s governor Oleh Syniehubov. Later, Syiehubov reported information about another three people being injured.

Russia attacks Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second-largest city, and the surrounding region frequently, using its proximity to the state border and front line. Preliminary investigation shows Russia used Shahed drones to attack the city.

“(Shahed) hit literally five meters from a high-rise residential building,” said Bohdan Hladkyh, a City Council’s Director of the Emergency Department, to Gwara Media. “A senior woman was injured pretty badly, and she was hospitalized by emergency responders. But we saw that she’s in severe conditions.”

Hladkyh added that the Russian strike burned three cars and damaged nine of them, blew out windows of multi-apartment buildings, and damaged a kindergarten building. Gwara Media continues to work at the impact site.
