UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Jul 21 — Russia launched 26 attack drones at Kharkiv in one night. The Ukrainian Air Force shot down 15 drones, and others hit the Kyivskyi district, said governor Oleh Syneihubov.
On the night of July 21, Russia conducted another massive air attack on Ukrainian cities, launching more than 420 drones and over 20 missiles. The attacks lasted all night and continued into the morning, said Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Ukrainian president.
In Kharkiv, on July 21, from 1:30 a.m. to 2:00 a.m., the Russian army attacked the Kyivskyi district of the city using Geran-2 drones, said the Prosecutor’s office of the region.
The local police reported that there were no casualties after the Russian attack.
Russian drones damaged an administrative building, a residential building, the nearest road, and the tramway.
The attack caused damage to the territories of two businesses, setting their premises on fire. In a residential area, explosions smashed windows in apartments and damaged a car.
Syneihubov also said that over the past day, Russian forces attacked 10 other settlements of the region with 38 unguided and four guided aerial bombs, and 35 attack drones of different types. These attacks injured seven people.
