UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, May 21 — On May 20, Russian troops attacked Kharkiv and six other settlements in the region, injuring six civilians, said Oleh Syniehubov, governor of the Kharkiv Oblast.
Russia continues its offensive in Kharkiv Oblast. On May 20, the Russian army tried to advance three times on the Kharkiv axis and attack once on the Kupiansk axis, reported the General Staff.
Syniehubov said that Russian attacks injured 72-year-old, 69-year-old, and 55-year-old women in Kupiansk. A 57-year-old man was injured in Myrne village, a 58-year-old woman in Nechvolodivka, and a 26-year-old woman in Borova village.
Also, Russia damaged or destroyed buildings of civilian infrastructure in the Kharkiv region, including eight houses, two outbuildings, and a building of an agricultural business.
The governor said that Russian forces attacked Kharkiv Oblast with different weapons:
- four guided aerial bombs;
- seven “Geran-2” drones;
- two other attack drones;
- two FPV drones.
On May 20, Russians attacked a military unit in the Sumy region during training at the shooting range, killing six and injuring 10 soldiers.
