UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Sep. 17 — Over the past day, Russian forces attacked a building of National Pharmaceutical University in Kharkiv and 11 settlements in Kharkiv Oblast, injuring six people, reported Oleh Syneihubov, the governor of the region.
Russians launched two aerial guided bombs, four Geran-2 type, four FPV drones, and one unidentified drone at Kharkiv Oblast.
Russian attacks injured an 89-year-old man and three women, 51, 52, and 54 years old, in Kharkiv, and two men, 63 and 82 years old, in Kupiansk.
Kharkiv regional police said that a university hit by a Russian kamikaze drone is a historical monument of local significance. This attack also damaged an autobus and a car.
Valeriia Chyrina, spokesperson for the regional Prosecutor’s office, said that law enforcement investigated whether the drone was jet-powered.
Later, she told Gwara that prosecutors have not recorded any activity of Russian jet drones in Kharkiv or the Kharkiv region.
Russian attacks also damaged six houses, a farm building, four storage facilities, agricultural machinery, power networks, a car, and an ambulance in the Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Izium, and Bohodukhiv districts.
