UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Aug 22 — Over the past day, Russian forces attacked nine settlements in Kharkiv Oblast, reported Oleh Syneihubov, the governor of the region.

Russians launched 12 attack drones, including Geran-2, FPV, and unidentified types.

Syneihubov noted that Russian drones killed a 59-year-old man and injured a 60-year-old man, a 53-year-old woman, and a 54-year-old man in the Kupiansk district.

Seven Russian drones attacked the Malynivka settlement in the Chuhuiv district, damaging two civilian businesses and a car, setting a fire.

“The Russians damaged empty storage buildings. We have not received any information about casualties,” said Halyna Minaieva, the head of the Chuhuiv military administration.

Russian attacks also destroyed or damaged four houses, an apartment building, and electricity networks in Kharkiv, Kupiansk, and Bohodukhiv districts.

On August 21, the family killed by Russians during the drone attack on the Industrialnyi district was buried in Kharkiv.
