UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Aug 21 — Over the past day, Russian forces attacked nine settlements in Kharkiv Oblast, reported Oleh Syneihubov, the governor of the region.

On the night of August 21, the Russians used 574 attack drones and 40 missiles against Ukraine, said Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Ukrainian President.

He also reported about 15 casualties because of the Russian attack on Ukraine, calling it “one of insane anti-records.” 

In the Kharkiv region, Russians launched a missile and 12 attack drones.

Syneihubov said that Russia killed a 70-year-old man and a 71-year-old woman in Petrivka village of the Zolochiv community.

A 41-year-old man asked for medical help after the Russian attack on Kharkiv on August 18.

Russian attacks destroyed or damaged three houses, a farm, and two cars in Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, and Bohodukhiv districts.

Also, Russians hit a critical infrastructure facility near Lozova in the Kharkiv region, said Serhii Zelenskyi, the head of the Lozova community.

Since the beginning of August, Kharkiv police evacuated 54 people from the Kupiansk, Kindrashivka, and Kurylivka communities in the Kupiansk district.
