UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Jun 20 — On June 20 night, Russian forces launched six drones on the Shevchenkivskyi, Osnovianskyi, and Kyivskyi districts of Kharkiv, injuring four people, including two children, reported Oleh Syniehubov, governor of the region.
Gwara Media was on an impact site in the Shevchenkivskyi district to document the damage after the Russian attack.
The Prosecutor’s Office of Kharkiv Oblast said there were three strikes of Russian drones in the Shevchenkivskyi district. One of the drones hit a yard of a residential building, setting fire and injuring a 27-year-old woman and 12-year-old and 17-year-old girls.
Later, Spartak Borysenko, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, said to Ukrainian media Suspilne that a gas cylinder exploded in a fire, injuring a State Emergency Service worker. He is currently in a hospital.
In Osnovianskyi district, a Russian drone destroyed a house. In the Kyivskyi district, the attack damaged the territory of civilian businesses.
Syniehubov noted that Russians damaged six residential buildings, two houses, and 51 cars in Kharkiv over the night.
The Prosecutor’s Office also reported about the Russian attack on Korotych and Pisochyn, two settlements near Kharkiv (6-9 miles). Russian drones damaged at least 15 houses and injured a 33-year-old woman.
