UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Apr. 9 — Russian forces attacked 18 settlements in the Kharkiv region on Apr. 8–9, killing one person and injuring three others, said Oleh Syniehubov, regional governor.
Over the past day, Russian forces used various weapons in the region, including three glide bombs and 43 kamikaze drones of different types, Syniehubov added.
On Apr. 8, a Russian strike killed a 67-year-old woman and injured a 62-year-old man in the settlement of Kivsharivka in the Kupiansk community.
On Apr. 9, two men aged 42 and 61 were injured in the Russian drone attack on a road near the village of Chornohlazivka in the Zolochiv community. One man got limb injuries. Doctors describe his condition as moderate. Another man got an acute stress reaction. The car was also damaged in the attack.
Medics also treated an 84-year-old woman who had been injured in the Russian attack on the village of Prykolotne on Mar. 30.
In total, the Russian air attacks damaged civilian infrastructure across several districts of the Kharkiv region, including residential buildings, houses, businesses, administrative facilities, vehicles, and power lines.
