UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Sep 1 — Over the past day, Russian forces attacked 11 settlements in Kharkiv Oblast with five attack drones of different types, reported governor Oleh Syniehubov.
Kharkiv regional police said that a Russian drone hit a civilian car, killing a 51-year-old woman and injuring a 59-year-old man in Podoly, Kupiansk district.
Russians injured a 67-year-old man in Nechvolodivka in the Kupiansk district. They also injured a 43-year-old man in Kupiansk itself.
Russian drones destroyed or damaged eight houses, a shop, a farm building, and a car in Kharkiv, Kupiansk, and Izium districts.
Over the past day, the General Staff recorded 10 Russian attacks on Ukrainian positions north of Kharkiv and 10 attacks on the Kupiansk axis.
On August 30, the Ukrainian army pushed away Russian troops near Myrne, a village northwest of Kupiansk, reports DeepState, an OSINT monitoring group that develops a war tracking map.
Also, on August 28, the Institute for the Study of War reported that the geolocated footage indicated the advances of Russian forces east of Kozacha Lopan, along the E-105 Kharkiv-Belgorod highway.
